Day 11 - Debt update
So here is where we are at currently:
Tesco loan - £15,045
Window finance - £3,206
Tesco loan arrears - £2,094
Payday loan £1,400 (now have arrears because I was making lower payments)
Car finance - £976
Credit card 1 - £1,161
Mortgage arrears - £737
Bank overdraft - £450
Holiday - £242
Credit card 2 - £174
Credit card 3 - £184
So some changes and some are exactly the same. I think I mentioned in my last post that my pay has gone down so unfortunately that has taken a hit on my plans, but I am not stressing just adjusting and figuring it out. I need to get those mortgage arrears down so that is a work in progress. I don't feel disheartened because there are valid reasons behind it, it's just a slight delay and that's okay.
Paper trading has been going well, have consistently been making £100 a day on a £3k account. I got another funded account today which was £10 for a £5K account and I blew it in like 10 minutes LOL. The issue with prop firms is that they have such strict drawdown rules. With paper trading I don't have to set a stop loss, and my trades clear within like 20 minutes and I only have to do 1/2 trades most days.
I definitely won't be getting another funded account any time soon, it's too jarring following the rules so I will most likely go live with like a £50 account in the nearby future. But for now I am focusing on paying down my debts and I am confident that in December I will be in a great position because a lot of the above will be gone.
I think my plan for payday next week is the normal, paying down mortgage arrears, sticking to a budget and potentially opening a live trading account with £50. I do have a few plans over the next month but nothing that will cost too much money I hope, so budget will be stuck to and I will be in the green.
